Kaufmann Mercantile chooses as well as designs furniture and homewares that are manufactured with equal importance given to functionality, durability, and aesthetics. Materials should be chosen for their longevity. The design should marry both function and beauty. Most of our products are handmade, and we never sell cheaply made mass-produced versions. We encourage still-functioning heirlooms, not fodder for landfills.
