About the Company:
First opening its “doors” in 1973, by the late 1980s, Hatcountry had joined the exciting world of the rodeo and fair circuit, traveling throughout the United States selling its wares to western wear fanatics country-wide. With each year, Hatcountry gained more devoted customers and expanded to meet the diverse tastes and needs of it’s customers. Of course, from day one Stetson, Resistol, and Bailey were in high demand, and Hatcountry quickly established a close working relationship with these legendary companies.
After the Internet boom of the late ’90s, Hatcountry made the official move to become an online-only business in 2003, one of the first cowboy hat sale sites in existence.
Hatcountry has grown exponentially, now serving customers worldwide. With offices in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Hatcountry ships direct to customers from a variety of warehouses across the country. A strong relationship is still maintained with Stetson, Resistol, and Bailey, who, in addition to offering a full line of stock items, also provide high-quality production items directly to Hatcountry’s customers.
With a growing online presence came a wider customer-base, and with Hatcountry’s growing popularity, it began to diversify its stock to meet the demands of country folk and urbanite followers alike. Its line of products soon included a variety of fedoras – now their second most popular type of hat trailing only to cowboy hats. Flat caps, sun hats, Indiana Jones hats, ball caps, and classic dress styles were also soon part of its collection, one of the largest available online. From there it was only natural to offer cowboy boots, moccasins, accessories, and apparel.
Of course, without its customers, Hatcountry could not exist, and they are always happy to hear suggestions for new brands to carry – some of the company’s most popular additions were customer recommendations!
Though Hatcountry has grown since its first days, they continue to encourage the family feel of their company, and view its employees and customers as an extension of that family. Hatcountry strives to provide great customer service and always welcomes feedback – positive and negative.
Shipment Tracking Information
Upon placement of your order, an order confirmation e-mail will automatically be sent out to you at the e-mail address provided during the check out procedure. Once full payment has been received and your order has been processed for shipping, you will receive a second e-mail from Hatcountry containing your shipment tracking number and all other pertaining shipping information. Most of our products are in stock and available to be shipped within 3-10 business days, but quite often are shipped earlier. However, some special order items take longer because they are produced specifically for you upon ordering. All production items are marked on their product page. If the item you have purchased is on backorder, you will receive order status emails periodically. Hat Country use different shippers for different items. Most items are shipped through FedEx or USPS, but a few of Hat Country warehouse only use UPS. All International orders are shipped through USPS. The shipping company used will be clearly marked in your shippment tracking e-mail and under your account’s order history page. Packages ship from various warehouse throughout the country so delivery times may vary.
Placing a Hatcountry order can be done at any time through Hat Country online checkout page. You can create an account to keep track of your orders or just check out as a guest. Note that purchases may be paid with Postal Money Orders or Cashier’s/Bank Checks in U.S. Dollars only for all orders, but will be placed on hold until payment is received. Sorry, we do not accept personal checks or CODs. Orders will not be shipped until full payment has been received.
Allow up to 1 business day for new pending orders to be processed by our customer service department and sent over to either production or shipping, based on the items orders. Orders are processed on weekdays only in the order they were receive. Each item on our site is stamped with its expected delivery time. If our warehouse anticipates any additional delay a customer service rep will contact you by e-mail or phone. Please contact us if you need an item by a specific date.
